Winter Morning Hot Chocolate

Did you know that there is a socially acceptable way to consume chocolate for breakfast? 🤭

And no it doesn’t have to be super healthy. I promise this isn’t oatmeal or nice cream (ice cream replacing condensed milk for bananas).😝 This is worth adding to your collection of warm beverages to consume during winters besides just your coffee.😍 It’s Hot Chocolate!🍫 It is going to help you reminisce the childhood memories of drinking your chocolate milk (maybe even better).




Ingredients:


  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp espresso powder

  • 1 drop vanilla essence

  • Sugar or jaggery powder to taste

  • 3 tbsp Coconut cream

  • 3/4 the cup Soy milk


Method:

1. In a cup, mix 2 tbsp of cocoa powder, espresso powder, vanilla essence, 3 tbsp jaggery powder, 3 tbsp coconut cream vigorously like beating coffee.

2. Next, add in the soy milk to fill the rest of the cup only after the mixing is done and there is no powder left to be seen.

3. Now, heat up the liquid, and bring to a boil over medium high heat and not very high heat as then, the milk will curdle.

4. It is ready to be poured in your cup.


There you have it, your rich, creamy and comforting cup of hot chocolate to enjoy in this harsh winter weather.


Notes:

1. The more the dark compound (cocoa powder, coconut cream), the thicker your hot chocolate will be.

2. The more the quantity of chocolate, the thicker and creamier will be your hot chocolate.
